Betty Bonnet’s Halloween Party Paper Dolls
How simply delightful is this set of Betty Bonnet’s Halloween Party paper doll cutouts? These beautiful old graphics were originally published in the Ladies Home Journal of 1917 and were created by the fabulous artist of the time Sheila Young. I used to absolutely adore playing with paper dolls when I was a little girl (that wasn’t yesterday either!) so I can quite imagine the excitement it would have caused a hundred years ago to discover these treasures in a magazine!
I have sympathetically restored, resized and enhanced the images to bring back their vibrancy and sharpness for modern day printing whilst retaining their charm and authenticity. The original journal was fairly large at 11″ by 17″ approximately so I have resized the sheet to fit A4 size which is formatted to print on both A4 & Letter size paper for your convenience. I have also included a set of the individual dolls and outfits in a larger size on separate sheets more in keeping with original sizes. You can make these smaller if you wish by simply altering the print size percentage on your printer. I have included a little Halloween Treat Bag & Tag too.
