How simply delightful is this set of Betty Bonnet’s Halloween Party paper doll cutouts? These beautiful old graphics were originally published in the Ladies Home Journal of 1917 and were created by the fabulous artist of the time Sheila Young. I used to absolutely adore playing with paper dolls when I was a little girl (that wasn’t yesterday either!) so I can quite imagine the excitement it would have caused a hundred years ago to discover these treasures in a magazine! I have sympathetically restored, resized and enhanced the images to bring back their vibrancy and sharpness for modern day printing whilst retaining their charm and authenticity.
