Dressing Up Paper Dolls
A delightful collection of printable Dressing Up paper dolls digital collage sheets for you to use in your art works, or for the kids to play to dress up with!
These beautiful old graphics have been digitized from original antique postcards. They were produced as greeting postcards at the time and painted by the now renowned artists M.E Banks and Louis Wain; created as little mini works of art using oils on canvas. I have digitally edited them in my own style to bring them up to date and make them a bit more colourful and appealing for little ones of today to play with. Whilst I was working with these I imagined how excited a wee boy or girl would have been to receive these little packets as a gift a hundred years ago…and not a battery in sight lol! You will find two of the edited postcards per A4 sheet for ease of printing and less waste of paper. Print as many times as you like. Dolls from the complete set of 5 Series are reproduced.
I have also included in the digital download the original unaltered source files I worked from for those of you who prefer something a bit more naturally aged to use in junk journals etc. Please keep in mind these were originally printed 100 years ago, it was a different time with very different technology! I should point out too there is a ragdoll of the time in the source images; I have removed it from my edited version.
I have also included a set of little folio box envelopes which I have created using the fronts from the original sale packets to store your cut out collage pieces in. The sheets I create are formatted to print on both A4 & Letter size paper for your convenience.
